Parish Officer is a rank that was historically used by East Coast Specials such as Great Yarmouth ,Southwold , Lowestoft. This one is believed to be Stanley Edgar Gowing, a Farmer. Born Tugby Leicestershire 1872, also lived Wardley / Stoke Dry Rutland before moving to Wingfield , Suffolk. Stanley died 20:October 1946, at the time of his death he was living at 11 Cliff Avenue Gorleston. His was was Ethel Elizabeth Gowing. He was buried the in local,area. Lots of online Newspaper hits on the name but unfortunately I don’t have the time to go through them. Often Special Constabulary medal awards were detailed in the local papers in the early 1920s.
