A collectable vintage mining lamp - Wolf No7 SEMB, is a renowned vintage flame safety lamp manufactured by The Wolf Safety Lamp Co. (William Maurice) Ltd. Historically used by miners to illuminate underground workings and detect dangerous methane gas (firedamp). Oval brass plaque on top with the number 92. Steel body, 2 gauze/ mesh layers; magnetic lock. It measures 27cm (approx 10 ½ inches) tall. Overall in good condition with no dents and including glass.
