this is an old TV film prop and was purchased with a collection of loads of other TV film props largely Doctor Who type of items so I don't know if this was ever used in a Doctor Who production .... ...but it's possible if you do your own research... the item is constructed of wood and is typical of an old TV prop decades ago. it uses some original parts but the coin mechanism has been cast in resin which is again typical of these old type of props. this is a really nice statement piece for the wall or a great piece of memory if you could find out where it was used. I'm just selling this as a prop as I don't have any documentation. overall a great looking statement piece
