Authentic vintage navy blue blazer made by the classic UK uniform supplier Sportogs (Service and Satisfaction). This blazer is an identifiable piece of St Catherine’s Society Oxford history. It features an rare and ornate cloth crest from earlier years of rowing. The blazer is wool, and shows wear consistent with its age. Small hole x2 under sleeve. Wear marks at edges of pockets and could benefit from a dry clean. The embroidered crest features Ship's Wheel (Helm) and Crowns. The Latin phrase on the open book is SAPIENTIA ET FIDE LIT TATE (roughly meaning "Wisdom and Faith in Letters/Learning").
