A lovely set of 14 vintage Soviet pocket calendars issued for the 1980 Moscow Olympic Games. Each card has a 1980 calendar grid on the reverse and a colourful illustrated Olympic design on the front. Some are from the Plakat Publishing House, others from Yakub Kolas (Minsk). A vivid snapshot of Soviet graphic design and state-sponsored Olympic promotion at the height of the Cold War. Condition: Vintage, used. General wear and handling marks consistent with age and use as everyday pocket items - please see photos for exact condition.
