This is a Vintage UK 1952 Fireman’s Greatcoat similar to (but not exactly the same) as one owned and worn by John Lennon,post The Beatles in New York City. Lennons coat was auctioned in 2014 for $30,000. The coat is labelled as breast (chest?) 40-43” and is 22” pit to pit, it’s very dark blue (almost black) The label in the coat belonging to Lennon is identical to this one other than the size.
