Here we have an exceptionally rare, screw top buffalo horn whistle, possibly by James Dixon & Co of Sheffield. A large whistle, at 8cm, it is in very good, working, undamaged condition. A similar one can be found on The Whistle Museum website under Dixon, in a lighter colour. I’m not sure if that one has a pea. It doesn’t seem to have. This one doesn’t.
