福娃妮妮 Nini (Fuwa Nini). The mascots were collectively known as the Fuwa (福娃), which translates to "Good-Luck Dolls.". The "Fuwa" Connection. What she represents: Nini is a green swallow, inspired by the traditional Chinese sand-swallow kites of Beijing (specifically Shayan kites).
