Neil has been part of the Northern Soul scene since the early 1970's. He's travelled by train to many Northern Soul clubs - he was a regular at the Casino during the 1970's. The painting shows a scene on a railway station, with two teenagers, a boy and girl waiting for a train to go to an all nighter.
