Brian Bysouth was born in London in 1936 and attended Willesden Art School as a junior. He joined Downtons agency in the late 1950s where his first accepted film art was for “Tiger Bay”. Apart from a short break with another agency he stayed with Downtons until 1973 when he went freelance.
