Framed article about King Kong and Fay Wray from the French fashion paper La Mode du Jour, 1930s. Original owner unknown. This probably unique item was created pre-1990, as can be seen from the sticker on the back, in the Southfields area of London. I rescued it - you can draw your own conclusion – from a pile of discarded items on the steps of a house in W 11 a couple of years ago, as it awaited the binmen and the rain. The paper has discoloured with age. The text, in French, tells us that the article continues on page 12, which is probably on the reverse. The framing is showing his age, but could be repaired quite easily by somebody competent (see last photo). The weight is 1.4 kg but will require a lot of protective packaging.
