Here is a vibrant original US theatrical 40" x 60" movie poster for the MGM reissue of their 1957 sci-fi programmer The Invisible Boy (1957). A precursor to fears of AI, the film details the invention of a supercomputer that ultimately begins to think for itself, and becomes so dangerous it's up to Robby the Robot and his prepubescent friend Tommie to stop it. It was more successful in this kiddie matinee showing in 1971 than it was upon its initial releasei in 1957. The poster design, with Robbie and Tommie at the supercomputer, is preferable to the original which inexplicably crops Reynold Brown's art to half the poster's size.
