Following his selection by the Knicks, he spent his first seven seasons in New York, playing a pivotal role as a primary scorer and defender. Over the course of his 13-year NBA career, he played for four franchises: New York Knicks: 19851992 Cleveland Cavaliers: 19921994 Vancouver Grizzlies: 19951996 Orlando Magic: 1996-1999.
