This is a UAL / Central Saint Martins master’s graduation gown. I wore it to my graduation ceremony, and in photos it looks virtually identical to the gown rented from the university. The fabric is slightly different, but the overall appearance is almost indistinguishable. Renting a gown from UAL costs £50—but for just £10, you can own a master’s graduation gown that you can keep forever, wear for graduation photos anytime, or even take to photoshoots at any location. I’ve only worn it twice, both for taking photos, so it’s in like-new condition.
