Vintage 1950’s Lumleys of Glasgow Test driver Extra Special Cricket Bat. Has done a good number of knocks but looks like it could still come out for a reprise in an exhibition or charity match. Collectors item - for those who still have memories of Lumleys - once a prominent long established sports retailer located on Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow before it was taken over in 1959. It was eventually rebranded as Greaves Sports in 1990. The literature states that all Lumleys branded sports goods are pre-1960’s due to the first takeover in 1959. A good display piece and historical talking point for Glasgow cricketers and/ or any cricket bat collectors. Full length - 83cm Handle length - 27cm Weight - 937g (2lb 1oz)
