The Baseball Hall of Fame Connection: Morgan G. Bulkeley is an immortal figure in sports history. He served as the very first President of baseball's National League when it was founded in 1876. For his foundational impact on the sport, he was permanently inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown in 1937.
