Antique Tankard for Emmanuel College Cambridge Scratch Sixes Rowing Team c.1890 Rare Antique Emmanuel College Cambridge Pewter Presentation Tankard The tankard is a trophy from the Emmanuel College "Scratch Sixes" Rowing competition, dated 1890. It is engraved with the names of the Rowing Team members: H. Menzies, A. T. Crouch, W. N. Cochrane, W. A. Knight, C. F. Medsala, and L. W. Greenshields. The college crest is at the top of the tankard which features a lion rampant and the motto "ATEN APIΣTEYEIN" (Ever to Excel).
