American Western directed by Andy Warhol, written and produced by Paul Morrissey. A campy satire of Hollywood Westerns, ‘Lonesome Cowboys’ debuted at the San Francisco Film Festival in November 1968, where it won ‘Best Film’. Five lonesome cowboys (Eric Emerson, Tom Hompertz, Louis Walton, Joe Dallesandro and Francis Francine) get all hot and bothered at home on the range after encountering Ramona D’Alvarez (Viva!) and her nurse (Taylor Mead, in a brilliantly unhinged performance). Very good condition. Some creasing and light toning to rear of sheet (see photos). Will look fantastic once framed. Will ship well-wrapped in a sturdy tube. Thanks for your consideration!
