This is an original Iraq Police General Service Medal, from the 1960s, featuring a distinctive eight-pointed bronze star design.The medal was instituted in 1959 to replace the previous Kingdom of Iraq Police General Service Medal.It comes with a ribbon that is blue with red stripes. The medal is in very nice condition as seen in the pictures.
