Colin Harry Appleton (7th March 1936 - 31st May 2021) An English footballer & manager, he was captain of the celebrated Leicester City side in the 1960s where he was FA Cup runner-up twice, League Cup runner-up once & won the League Cup in 1963 - 64, the club's first major honour.
