Brief AMQS, written in black ink on an off-white 3 x 5 collector's card preprinted with two musical illustrations, signed "William Schuman, Greenwich, CT, 8/88.". In very fine condition. Schuman (1910–1992), who served variously as president of the Julliard School and Lincoln Center, was a distinguished composer of orchestral music (including eight symphonies), operas, and choral and chamber music.
