These photographs have been removed from an old scrapbook dated 1865. The scrapbook belonged to the Honourable WR Verney (who is also in the photos). PLEASE NOTE: the photographs are stuck on one page from the scrapbook (back to back). The Loder’s Club, also known as the Christ Church Society, is an all-male social and drinking club for students at Oxford University. Some soiling and marks (mainly on the page rather than the photograph) consistent with age. Slight undulation cause by the glue used to stick the photos to the page.
